GMG were engaged to undertake a uX and digital analytics audit and create an improved digital experience for the NBL.
GMG and the NBL identified their mission - to make the website's digital experience a best in its class within the Australian sporting market. To achieve this, GMG would increase online engagement by having users sign up to the paid subscription League Pass.
GMG was responsible for both qualitative and quantitative research surrounding the current digital experience within the NBL website. Using a combination of stakeholder engagement and uX tools, GMG were able to identify what aspects of the digital experience were successful and which weren't.
The campaign was developed based on the results obtained in the research period, achieved by implementing a split-testing campaign aimed at testing the functional and design elements of the website. The campaign resulted in a significant boost to site conversions and improved overall engagement rate.
