Working within a challenging FMCG category, CSR Sugar sought to differentiate itself from the negative stigmas of sugar in aim of creating Australia’s most engage backing community.
GMG was engaged by CSR Sugar to help drive traffic acquisition and subsequent subscription to Baking Nation however, after running a significant campaign they saw little uplift in subscriptions and it became apparent that needed to not alter the campaign landing page but the sign up process entirely.
CSR Sugar and GMG worked together to define their customers by demographically and psychographically. Coupled with quantitative analytics, we uncovered the insights required to redesign and develop CSR Sugars’ campaign landing page and sign-up process.
Once the sign-up process had been re-designed and implemented, GMG began to target users based on baking ‘moments’ through the year. Creating an association between calendar event and baking, making baking nation the destination for users baking moment recipes.
