We didn’t want to start a race to the bottom resulting in diminishing returns and decreasing profitability but with a great supplier relationship we also didn’t want to be beat on price. GMG employed a strategy that enabled us to bid/increase our CPC and CPM based on competitor pricing resulting in the lowest CPA possible for each individual sale at that point in time.
We used media buying automation coupled with our extensive category experience to implement and optimise a specific campaign that would optimise our CPC/CPM based on product profitability and competitor pricing, in real time.
